Part 2. Creating Presentations

PowerPoint 2003 offers you a variety of ways to create your slide show presentations. You can build a presentation from scratch by adding text and other slide elements to blank slides. Or you can use the AutoContent wizard to assist you with creating a presentation step-by-step. By utilizing preformatted templates, you simply add your own text to create a quick slide show tailored for your specific audience. You can also select from numerous design templates and then add slides that share the same look and feel.

Once you have started a presentation, you can fill in placeholder text, add clip art, and add more slides. You can also modify the layout of a slide to change the way in which information and graphics are presented.

As you build your presentation, you can save it to work on it a little at a time, assign a password to protect your work, and open multiple slide shows.
