Expanding and Collapsing the Outline

To collapse the outline, click the Collapse All button in the Outlining toolbar.

PowerPoint collapses the outline.

To expand the outline again, click the Expand All button.

The full outline is again displayed.

INTRODUCTION

To help you concentrate on slide titles without viewing the subordinate text associated with each slide, you can collapse the outline. This allows you to view titles only. You can expand the outline again to view body text.

TIP

Collapsing a Single Slide

To collapse just a single slide in the outline, select the slide and click the Collapse button on the Outlining toolbar. To expand it again, click the Expand button.
