Installing DB2 Connect Personal Edition

To install and configure DB2 Connect Personal Edition to DB2 for OS/390 communications, you must do the following:

  • The client machine must meet the necessary installation requirements (operating system, CPU, memory, and disk space for DB2 product installation).

  • The client machine must have the necessary user accounts for installation and setup.

  • The client machine must be able to communicate to the OS/390.

Then you're ready to install the DB2 product, using the DB2 Setup Wizard.
