Summary

In this chapter, we summarized some trends in the wireless data industry and tried to extrapolate how they will influence service delivery to mobile subscribers. We discussed the kinds of wireless services and applications we may find in future wireless networks and some possible service scenarios, including those derived from the integration of WLAN with the cellular infrastructures.

This chapter also concludes this book, which we hope has helped you acquire an understanding of many aspects of provisioning and architecting MVPN and other advanced data services in the mobile environment, as well as a general understanding of the data mobility and wireless services industry.
