Experienced Premiere users typically have a few editing tricks up their sleeves. Unless you see them at work, you may not come up with them yourself. In this hour I've explained a few of them: highlighting an area of your clip using a matte and a video effect, following action with a track matte or a clipped clip, using virtual clips to circumvent editing roadblocks, and creating mirrored clips with animations and video effects thrown in. And it never hurts to have an Adobe evangelist toss in a few tricks. My favorite is the docking palettes tip. It's a standard part of my workspace setup.
