Setting the New Component dialog box options

The purpose of this dialog box is to create a new ColdFusion component.

To set the dialog box options:

  1. In the Name text box, enter the name for the new CFC.

    Only alphanumeric characters and underscores (_) are acceptable.

  2. In the Component Directory text box, enter the desired location for your CFC.

    You can also use the Browse button to locate the folder more easily.

    NOTE

     

    The folder must be the relative path to the site root folder.
