Setting Accessibility preferences

Setting Accessibility preferences

The purpose of this dialog box is to activate the accessibility dialog boxes.

To activate accessibility dialog boxes:

  1. Under Show Attributes When Inserting, select the objects for which you want to activate accessibility dialog boxes.

For each object you select, an Accessibility dialog box prompts you to enter accessibility tags or attributes when you insert that object type in a document.

  2. Select the Keep Focus option if you want access to a panel after you open it.

By default, Dreamweaver keeps the focus in Design view or Code view after you open a panel. This makes accessing panels difficult if you're using a screen reader. Selecting this option gives you access to the panel.

  3. Deselect the Offscreen Rendering checkbox if you have problems with your screen reader.
  4. Click OK.
