Setting the Dynamic Text dialog box options

The purpose of this dialog box is to add dynamic content or to make existing text dynamic.

To set the Dynamic Text dialog box options:

1. Select a data source from the list of data sources.

   The data source should contain textual information. If no data sources appear in the list, or if the available data sources don’t meet your needs, click the Plus (+) button to define a new data source. For instructions, see Displaying Database Records.

2. If you want, select a data format for the text.

   For more information, see Using predefined data formats.

3. If you want, modify the code that Dreamweaver will insert in your page to display the dynamic text.
4. Click OK.
