In this chapter, I introduced you to IIS, Windows Server 2003's integrated Internet publishing system. You learned how IIS, like any network-centric service, presents a potential security risk on your network and how to minimize those risks while maintaining the benefit of IIS' capabilities and features. You learned how IIS integrates with Windows Server 2003's own security and how Windows Server 2003 provides a minimal default set of IIS features to help minimize security risks.
