Chapter 13. WLAN Deployment Examples

This chapter discusses several WLAN deployment examples across large, medium, and small enterprise networks and across vertical markets such as retail, education, healthcare, and manufacturing. Whereas Chapter 10, "Design Guidelines for Secure WLANs," discussed deployment guidelines and best practices for securing WLANs, this chapter applies the aforementioned deployment guidelines and best practices uniquely for each customer scenario to give you snapshots of different WLAN security deployments, each with unique deployment criteria. Deployment challenges and issues are also discussed with each example. If applicable, a deployment/topology diagram is given for a deployment example.
