Appendix A. Detailed Configuration Example for a PE

This configuration was made on a 7500 running 12.0(30)S. It gives a global view on a number of security features configured on a single router. As with all examples, do not enter commands with IP addresses literally into your router. Also, certain features do not work in all environments; for example, the infrastructure ACLs in this example only work because here static routing is used. Therefore, this example must be adapted specifically to every environment.
