Introduction to Cisco Easy VPN

Cisco Easy VPN is a component of the Cisco Unified Client Framework, in which VPN management is centralized across all Cisco VPN devices. This strategy simplifies VPN deployment for remote offices and telecommuters, reduces deployment complexity, and conserves human resources. The Cisco Easy VPN strategy incorporates all VPN platforms, including VPN software client, VPN 3002 hardware client, Cisco routers, Cisco PIX Firewalls, and Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrators.

The Cisco Easy VPN strategy is comprised of two types of implementations:
