The HttpRuntime class provides ASP.NET runtime
services and is used transparently by the ASP.NET framework. In some
rare cases, you may want to use it. For example, you can use the
ProcessRequest( ) static (shared) method to
process an ASP.NET request outside of Internet Information Server and
Close( ) to clear the cache and shut down the
Common Language Runtime.
