Summary

DVDs are the next "big thing." And Premiere is right there at the leading edge, offering DVD authoring along with video/audio editing and MPEG encoding.

Creating DVD projects is a lot like creating a basic text outline. Each main outline point can serve as an opening menu button that links viewers to submenus, which can link even deeper in the project via "nested" menus.

It may take more time to plan your project than to create its menus. The process is straightforward and consists primarily of dragging menu backgrounds to menu placeholder screens and then adding buttons. Establishing links from one menu to another is a mere drag-and-drop process.
