IOS Support for SNMP Versions
Summarized by IOS trains, Table 4-1 shows the support of the different SNMP versions. You can see that, as SNMPv2 evolved, SNMPv2c replaced SNMPv2. Also note that even if SNMPv1 status is historical, the latest IOS trains still support it.
