As a tool you will use every day to manage your SQL Servers, I encourage you to take the time to familiarize yourself with Enterprise Manager's features. You'll be surprised at how quickly you become adept in the use of this tool. However, keep in mind it is just a tool. Just as a bigger wrench doesn't make a better mechanic, Enterprise Manager can't make you a better administrator. A sound knowledge of the principles of database management will do that. However, it's always nice to have a big wrench when you need one!
