INTRODUCTION

If you set a reminder for an appointment, Outlook displays a Reminder dialog box at the set time. When you see a Reminder dialog box, you have a few options for handling the reminder. Most often, you either dismiss the item or snooze the reminder.

TIP

Displaying the Appointment Window

If you need to, you can click the Open Item button in the Reminder dialog box to open the item's Appointment window. For example, you might do this to change the appointment time or reschedule it on another day.

TIP

Dismissing All Reminders

If you want to dismiss all reminders, click the Dismiss All button. You will be asked to confirm that you don't want to be reminded for any upcoming scheduled events; click Yes.
