hard disk: A storage medium that consists of several metallic disks stacked on top of each other, usually protected by a metal outer case. Hard disks are available in a variety of sizes and capacities and are usually the main storage area inside your computer.

History: A list of folders, files, or Web sites you have opened recently. You can display the History list and then select to view any of the items in the list.

hover: To place the mouse pointer over an object for a few seconds. In most Windows applications, for example, if you hover the mouse over a toolbar button, a small banner pops up that tells you the name of the button.
