INTRODUCTIONWindows can use two types of fonts: the fonts built in to your printer and the fonts installed on your system. The installed fonts are files that tell Windows how to print in that font. The fonts you can select to use in a document depend on the fonts installed on your system. You can view a list of fonts and see an example of any of the available fonts. |
TIPView List You can view the fonts by list rather than by icon. To do so, click View and then List. You can also view similar fonts by selecting View, List Fonts by Similarity. |
You see the Fonts folder with icons for all of the installed fonts. To view a font, double-click the icon. |
You see a sample of the font in various sizes. Click the Done button to close the font window. |
TIPPrint a Font To print a sample of the font, click the Print button in the font dialog box. |
