After you've inserted a disk into your floppy disk drive, select the files you want to copy to the disk. Right-click the selected files.
Select the Send To command from the shortcut menu, and choose the appropriate floppy drive.
The files are copied to that disk. You can open that disk from My Computer to verify that they are copied, as shown here.
You might want to copy a file to a floppy disk to take the file with you or to make a backup copy. Windows provides a shortcut (the Send To command) for copying a file to a floppy disk.
If the disk is full, you see an error message. Insert another blank disk and click the Retry button. The files are copied to the next disk.
