INTRODUCTIONIf a folder contains picture files, you can use the Picture Tasks list to print pictures. If you have a "regular" printer, the quality won't be great, but will be OK for some purposes. You can also purchase and use a special photograph printer. |
TIPPhoto Printers You can expect to pay from $200 to $800 or more for a special photo printer. Visit computer retail stores and check the actual printouts from various printers to choose one with an acceptable print quality. |
TIPOpen Other Folders If your pictures are stored in another folder, open that folder for step 1. |
Select which pictures you want to print. Then click Next. |
Select the printer and click Next. |
Select a picture layout and click Next. The photos are printed. |
Click Finish. |
TIPE-mail Pictures To e-mail pictures, click the e-mail picture link. Windows prompts you to optimize the image (which speeds sending and opening the picture). Make your selections, complete the e-mail address and message, and click Send. |
TIPWorking with Picture Files You can rename, delete, move, or copy picture files just like any file. See Part 4, "Working with Files," for more help on managing files. |
TIPTransfer Pictures You can transfer pictures using the software that came with the camera or with Windows XP's. |
