Create a new mail message. Refer to Task 6 for help on this step. |
Click the To button in a message window. |
You see the Select Recipients dialog box listing contacts in your Address Book. Select the person to add and click To. |
INTRODUCTIONRather than type a long e-mail name, which can be error-prone, you can create an address book of names and addresses. Then when you create a message, you can select the name from the Address Book rather than type it. |
TIPMore Addresses You can select additional recipients by selecting them and clicking To. |
That person is added to the Message recipients list. Follow step 3 for each person to which you want to send the message. Click OK. |
Type the subject and message. |
Click Send to send the message. |
TIPContact List By default, Outlook Express displays the Contacts list, which is a list of the names in your Address Book. You can double-click any of the listed names to create a new mail message, addressed to the person you double-clicked. |
TIPCc and Bcc You can select a name from the Address Book for Cc and Bcc by selecting a name and then clicking the Cc or Bcc buttons. |
