Setting the ASP.NET DataGrid Property inspector options

The DataGrid Property inspector lets you change the name of the DataGrid, adjust the cell padding and cell spacing values, and display column headers or footers.

To modify a DataGrid:

  1. To modify a DataGrid, change any of the following settings:

    The DataGrid box lets you change the name of the DataGrid.

    The Advanced button lets you open the DataGrid Object dialog box. For more information, see Setting the ASP.NET DataGrid Object dialog box options.

    The Cell Padding box lets you adjust the cell padding of the grid cells.

    The Cell Spacing box lets you adjust the cell spacing of the grid cells.

    The Show Column Titles option lets you enable or disable headers.

    The Show Column Footers option lets you enable or disable footers.

  2. Press Enter (Windows) or Return (Macintosh) to apply your changes.
