Writing a client-side script in Design view

You can write a JavaScript or VBScript for your page without leaving Design view.

Before starting, select View > Visual Aids > Invisible Elements to ensure that script markers will appear on the page.

To insert a client-side script in Design view:

1. Place the insertion point where you want the script.
2. Select Insert > Script Objects > Script.

   The Script dialog box appears.

3. Complete the dialog box and click OK.
